The firm has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in large commercial matters in the Supreme Courts of various states, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.

Due to the longevity of our relationships with our elder clients, we have had the wonderful opportunity to assist with their progression into retirement. Cyber Insurance

At JTA Law we act for underwriters and brokers in cyber insurance. We are equipped to assist you in a number of areas regarding cyber and ransomware attacks.

These include:   

  • Advising on cyber insurance policies and coverage; 

  • Advising on data breaches, confidentiality, privacy, the duty to notify customers/regulators, and blockchain technology;  

  • Advising on ransomware attacks, communicating and negotiating with hackers, identifying appropriate Strategies (e.g. deciding whether to pay the hacker);
